Flashverse Technologies Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," "our") is an Indian private limited company. We operate ClipCaption.io, an AI-powered video captioning service ("Service"). We are the data controller for personal information processed in connection with the Service.

If you sign in via a third-party identity provider (e.g., Google Sign-In), we receive basic profile information (name and email) from that provider in accordance with their privacy policy.

We do not use video or audio files you upload ("Content") to train AI models without obtaining separate, explicit, informed consent from you.
ClipCaption.io uses Interaction Data — caption corrections you make, feedback ratings, usage patterns, and processing metadata — as training and evaluation data to improve our AI models. This includes reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) pipelines where your feedback signals are used as reward signals.
This is a condition of using the Service. By creating an account and using ClipCaption.io, you expressly consent to this use. There is no opt-out from Interaction Data collection while you use the Service. For the full disclosure, see Section 8 of our Terms & Conditions.
What we do not do: We do not sell Interaction Data to third parties. We do not use your Content (video/audio) for AI training without separate consent. Where feasible, Interaction Data is pseudonymised before use in training pipelines.
Deletion limitation: Interaction Data already incorporated into trained model weights cannot be individually extracted or deleted. We will inform you of this limitation if you make a deletion request.
We share data with the following third-party sub-processors to provide the Service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. A current list is maintained at clipcaption.io/sub-processors.

We use Razorpay and other PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors to handle payment transactions. These processors receive limited payment information solely to complete your transactions.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.
If we merge with, are acquired by, or sell assets to another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or in-app notice and give you the opportunity to delete your account if required.
We do not sell your personal information or Interaction Data to third parties for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.
Some of our sub-processors are located outside India and outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the United States. When we transfer personal data from the EEA to these countries, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission as the transfer mechanism.
By using the Service, you consent to international data transfers subject to the safeguards described in this Section and in Section 9 of our Terms & Conditions.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair the Service's functionality.

After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion of your personal data — see Section 9 for your rights and the limitations that apply to Interaction Data incorporated into model weights.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination. To exercise these rights, contact contact@clipcaption.io.
As the DPDP Act's rules are notified, you will have rights to access, correct, and erase your Personal Data, and to nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Raise grievances with our Grievance Officer at contact@clipcaption.io; we will respond within 30 days.
Email contact@clipcaption.io with your full name, account email, and a description of your request. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request. We will respond within 30 days (or the period required by applicable law).
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel, and regular security reviews.
No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact contact@clipcaption.io immediately. We will notify affected users of data breaches in accordance with applicable law.
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly and terminate the associated account. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact contact@clipcaption.io.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 15 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
